Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Fast Connector ("we," "our," or "us") is a service operated by Deal.ai Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our OAuth connector gateway service.
1. Information We Collect
When you connect a third-party service through Fast Connector, we collect:
- OAuth Tokens: Access tokens and refresh tokens provided by third-party services (Google, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Zoom) to maintain your authorized connections.
- Account Identifiers: Your user ID within the application using Fast Connector, and the project ID associated with that application. For Zoom connections we also store your Zoom user id and the email address on your Zoom account so we can display which account is connected.
- Connection Metadata: Information about which services you've connected and when.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Facilitate authorized API requests to connected third-party services on your behalf
- Automatically refresh expired access tokens to maintain your connections
- Track usage for billing and rate limiting purposes
We do not access, read, analyze, or store the actual data from your connected services (such as your calendar events, spreadsheet contents, or drive files). We only proxy requests between applications and the connected services.
3. Data Security
We take security seriously:
- Encryption: All OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored in our database.
- Transport Security: All communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Access Control: Tokens are only accessible to the specific user and project that created them.
- Minimal Storage: We only store what's necessary to maintain your connections.
4. Third-Party Services
Fast Connector integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google (Calendar, Sheets, Drive)
- Slack
- Notion
- HubSpot
- Zoom
Each of these services has their own privacy policies. When you connect a service, you're also subject to their terms and privacy practices.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your connection data until:
- You disconnect the service through the application
- The application owner removes your access
- You request deletion of your data
You can disconnect any connected service at any time, which will immediately delete the associated tokens from our system.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Disconnect any connected service at any time
- Request information about what data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Revoke access directly through the third-party service's security settings
7. Google API Services User Data Policy
Fast Connector's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Zoom User Data Handling
When you connect a Zoom account through Fast Connector, we handle your Zoom data as follows:
- What we collect: Your Zoom user id and email address (fetched once at connect time via Zoom's /users/me endpoint), an OAuth refresh token, and a short-lived cached access token. These are the only Zoom fields we persist.
- What we do with it: We use these credentials exclusively to create scheduled Zoom meetings on your behalf when you (or a customer booking time with you) trigger a meeting creation through an application that uses Fast Connector. We do not read your existing meetings, recordings, transcripts, chat messages, participant lists, or any other Zoom data.
- How it's stored: All tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being written to our database. They are decrypted only in-memory at the moment they are needed to refresh the access token or create a meeting.
- How long we keep it: Until you disconnect the Zoom account from the application, at which point we POST to Zoom's /oauth/revoke endpoint and then delete the local connection record. If you uninstall the app from Zoom's Installed Apps page, the stored tokens become unusable on the next refresh attempt and are cleaned up.
- What we do NOT do: We do not share your Zoom data with third parties, we do not use it for advertising or analytics, and we do not access your Zoom account outside of explicit user-initiated booking events.
9. Children's Privacy
Fast Connector is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
